While Bee Coco Candle was out on the town enjoying pop-ups in the fall and winter of 2022, we met many new people and we met plenty of men and women that asked, "Do you have any masculine scents?". While we did indeed have a few we thought, why not add a few more non-toxic masculine scents? Then we took it one step further and thought, why not have an entire new line and call it "Non-Toxic Masculinity"?
Now you may be asking yourself, what exactly makes an aroma a masculine scent? Is patchouli as masculine scent? Is vanilla a masculine scent? Is sandalwood a masculine scent? Typically, when people think of masculine scents, they are thinking of spicy, woody and herbaceous scents.
We tried to take the guesswork out and put together the following list of six masculine scents that both men and women love. Plus once our show schedule came to a close, we got busy testing and pouring new masculine scents to introduce mid-January 2023.
Natural/Woody Scents: Cedar, teakwood, white birch, pine, fir and balsam
Spice Scents: Vanilla, cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon
Musky Scents: Tonka bean and amber
Earthy Scents: Moss, patchouli, tobacco, bourbon, pumpkin, coffee, rain and leather
Minty scents: Eucalyptus, spearmint, peppermint, watermint
Fresh: Powder and linen
